- Substructure of CW or UA metal profiles is anchored to existing exterior wall.
- The cavity beween the studs is filled with mineral wool, providing the required thermal and acoustic insulation.
- The substructure then is cladded with Blue Board.
- The exposed to exterior side of Blue Board is subsequently finished with EPS or mineral wool to improve even further the performance of the system.
Application
- Buildings designed and constructed with traditional methods with concrete, stone and brick masonry exterior walls often have coarse and uneven surface before application of finishing decorative layer, requireing larger consumption of adhesive composition for leveling and installing the insulation material. This leads to increased labour and building material cost as well as prolonged building period.
- Blue Board provides perfectly smooth and even substrate for ETICS, installation is fast and simple, preventing thermal bridges formation.
