Question 1: I am in the process of opening a small clothing store. I want to utilise a storage room using plasterboard partition walls. Is there anything specific I should take into consideration?
Answer: We recommend that you use a certified partition wall Technogips Pro W1-2, Fire Wall 120.1 with Fire Resistant Plasterboard type DF. By using this particular system, you get fire protection up to 120 minutes, sound insulation up to 61 dB and impeccable strength in just 15 cm wall thickness.
Question 2: I want to create a decorative niche in my living room. What solution would you recommend and what are the specifics I should be considering?
Answer: When building this type of construction, it is very important to consider what the expected hanging load is going to be. In order to have complete freedom in the design and choice of objects you will be hanging, we recommend the construction of a certified wall system Technogips Pro W1-2 with Blue Board 12.5mm which allows you to hang objects up to 70 kg/m and achieve fire protection of 120 minutes and sound insulation of 60 dB.
Question 3: I am about to mount a TV with a bracket on a plasterboard wall but I don’t want any loose cables or wires. What is the solution to this?
Answer: In order to hide the cables, first you must turn off the power and dismantle the existing sockets. You will need a marker for outlining, a socket box, an electrical box, a piece of drywall, joint filler, joint tape, drywall screws 3.5x25mm and two pieces of UD 27 profiles pre-fixed to the back of the wall cladding.
