  • Premium Profile UW
  • Drywall Screw TN 3.5x25
  • Drywall Screw TEX TN 4.2x13
  • Nail plug 6x40 or Plasterboard Screw TN 5.5x38
  • Tape Measure
  • Laser level
  • Drywall Screwdriver

The metal structure for the hidden curtain rod is made of Premium Profiles CW and UW.

The first step is to use a pencil, tape measure and a laser level to mark the exact position of the box on the ceiling and wall.

The standard overall dimension of The box has standard overall dimensions of 25+ cm width and 20 cm height as you determine the length according to your wish and the specific features of your space. The bigger the width/distance/spacing you have from the surrounding wall of the box, the easier it would be to mount the interior lining and the better the decoration effect of the final shape.

Then we proceed to the sizing of the first Premium profile UW, which should have a lenth equal to the length of the decorative element which will be part of the main structure of the box. The first Premium profile UW is mounted to the main ceiling using Ceiling anchor 6x40 mm in case the base is solid. In case you have a plasterboard base we mount the UD profile with a Plasterboard screw TN 5.5x38. For both types of fasteners, the fastening distance should be 500 mm.

After that we proceed to the sizing of the two Premium CW profiles, which are mounted at the two ends of the UW profiles to form the main frame of the structure. It is necessary to install additional CW profiles at every 40 cm to stabilize the structure.

Use Drywall Screws TEX TN 4.2x13 to fix the CW-UW profiles.

Fix gypsum board strips to the already formed box by fastening Drywall screws TN 3.5 x 25 mm at every 25 cm.

In order to form straight and aesthetically pleasing edges, sand the edges of the board with a Drywall Grinder.
