How to Install UD Profiles?
In this article we explain how to mount peripheral UD profiles when installing a suspended ceiling.
Products and tools you need:

Premium Profile UD 27
- Acoustic Tape 30
- Tape Measure
- Level
- Choke Line Marker
- Tin Snips
Here are the steps we followed:
We predetermine the desired height of the suspended ceiling and with the help of a laser level or pencil and choke line marker,
we mark the contour along which we will install the peripheral Premium profiles UD 27.
We measure the size of each of the enclosing walls and size the UD 27 Premium profiles. To the base of each Premium profile UD 27 we stick Acoustic tape to isolate the sound vibrations from the main supporting structure to the suspended ceiling.
After sizing the Premium profiles UD 27, we proceed to their installation to the enclosing structure with a suitable fastening element at a distance of a maximum of 500 mm. For example:
- For masonry walls of solid bricks, we recommend the use of nail plug 6x40
- For reinforced concrete walls, we recommend the use of ceiling ancher 6x40
- For solid lattice brick walls, we recommend the use of nail plug for cavities.
