In this article we explain how to quickly, easily, and correctly cut Blue Board.

Tools you need:

• Utility knife
• Tape measure

Here are the steps we followed:

Grasp the cutter of the utility knife and the beginning of the tape measure with one hand and pull the tape measure to the desired length with the other. Use the case of the tape measure to fix the length of the cut.

Using light pressure, we cut the board with the knife. Repeat the process until the blue glass mat of the board is completely detached.

Press the board down lightly but quickly using both hands and then swiftly raise the board in the opposite direction so that the veil on the other side of the board is also detached.

Unlike plasterboard which must be cut on both sides, it is enough to cut Blue Board only on one, regardless if it’s the face or the back.

You can follow the same steps to cut the width and the length of the board as well as to cut different sizes of strips and other shapes.
