Question 1: I want to separate the living and dining room at home. What are the steps I need to follow?
Answer: We recommend that you use partition wall Technogips Pro W1-2 – single construction of Technogips Pro premium profiles CW/ UW and two layers of plasterboard type Sound Comfort Extra DF which provide high level of sound insulation and fire protection.
Using Sound Comfort Extra DF instead of standard plasterboard increases sound insulation up to 5 dB, which is essential for acoustic comfort between rooms and provides additional 120 minutes of fire protection.
Question 2: How to use FUGA & FINISH Light and what to use it for?⠀
Answer: FUGA & FINISH Light is a ready to use compound which makes it very convenient and easy to use. You can use it directly from the container and if necessary it can be diluted with water (200 ml. at a time until the desired consistency is achieved).
FUGA & FINISH Light can be used for filling and finishing of plasterboard joints, level Q1 and Q2; for complete skim coating, level Q3; and its fine formula makes it extremely suitable for level Q4 which corresponds to the highest demands of the quality of the finished surface. With FUGA & FINISH Light you can quickly and easily fill various small cracks and scratches on the wall and form outer and inner corners.
Question 3: What tools and accessories should I use with FUGA & FINISH Light?
Answer: Working with FUGA & FINISH Light does not require any special tools other than the standard ones used in dry construction – joint knife and trowel. The product is extremely easy to use and can be applied both manually or mechanically with a drywall banjo, bazooka or airless. FUGA & FINISH Light is compatible with all Technogips Pro joint tapes – paper, glass-fiber and self-adhesive. For best results and impeccable strength, we recommend using the paper joint tape. For optimal smoothness of the wall we recommend using sandpaper with grits from 180 to 220 for manual polishing and 150 grits for machine polishing.
